We performed a cleaning project while walking around the town of Kotobukicho yesterday.
While picking up the trash, many people who lives in kotobuki said "Thank you" or "Thanks for your hard work" and some women gave us candy.
We could feel the warmth of the people in kotobukicho.
Although it is not possible to say that there are still many participants in the second session, there are participants of various people such as those who came for the event, guests, residents of Kotobukicho, and staff.
We are planning to hold the program once a month, so if you are interested, please feel free to join us!
By the way, if you participate the cleaning, you can join the party for free! Let's make a toast together after cleaning!

Students from the Utsunomiya University of Regional Design, Ishii Seminar, who came to Yokohama Hostel Village for a study trip as last year.
We walked together around hostel next morning! It seemed that the schedules that the students had set up themselves were so tight, and they left for the next place in a hurry. Please come and spend time here again.

Yokohama Hostel Village's late night staff is the one who checks in the late arriving guests. They also sometimes have to handle midnight emergencies at hostel. They are the unsung hero of our hostel!
They all come and work for us with a dream or a goal to accomplish. Then they move on to their next journey of life. And now! We have a professional fighter as our late night staff. He is working here and training to be a better MMA fighter. He has a tournament coming up and he is always on diet or avoiding carbohydrates. His fists have cuts and callus all time from the practice...
Asked what is his final goal and he responses,
"I want to have a memorable fight that stays in my mind forever"
Wow. Fame and popularity are the next priority for this fighter.
He also wishes to have his own gym in the future and he is with lots of ambitions. Yokohama Hostel Village is rooting for him and hank you for your support!
His ring name is Ryo Narushima. If you happen to stay at our hostel why not enjoy a MMA or martial arts talk with him!

Saturday is the busiest day in YHV's week. Then we see a group of colorful hair and obviously they were in some type of music relations. They asked us for our price and throughly we explained what we are and the system and they booked us rooms!!
They are a punk rock band from Sendai, Japan, called NAKED YEGGS. They are playing in Nekoya live house in Kannai tonight!
They said they are going to just punk it out and go out and drink and just need a place to crash. So our small room is enough! It was a very ROCK check-in and thank you so much for finding us tonight!! Have a cool live and we will go check out Nekoya soon!

Kotolab LLC's is doing a parking area cleaning for town development and keeping the neighborhood facilities clean. It's been a while since hostel's friend Mr. W wanted to volunteer to our work. He cleaned the parking lot with us and even after that he helped us out with cleaning hostel rooms!
With the new extra hands for today's parking lot cleaning, the old cleaning members decided to go into the bushes we did not get in for weeding!
Keep cleaning the town and maintaining the quality is the super basic to the town development!

We have a cool couple from UK and they are well masked because of the virus scare. Very smart of them. They arrived and wanted to have some good sushi so we recommended Sushiro in Yokohama station. This Sushiro has a bit different concept and it is called KONOMI.
We will go research it soon!

There is a nice wine shop in Kannai within walking distance of Yokohama Hostel Village!
It is located along the boulevard park, and handles wines from more than 40 countries around the world. Not only wines from famous countries (France, Italy, Spain, etc.) but also Bulgaria, Greece, Egypt, Thailand, Morocco and so on? ! I was making wine to such a country! ? There are many rare wines in the country that you can think of! ! ! This was a secret.
And the very popular United States is full of California wine section!
It goes to the dessert wine section. . . I'm taking off my hat.
The staff also have sommeliers and they are friendly and will teach you various things.
The main highlight is the daily wine section. Table-based wines are in the 1000 yen range and have a quality of over 2,3000 yen! A lot of wines from different countries are also in the section that was said to be Australian! This is no longer available at supermarkets and convenience stores. . .
There's also a sparkling and champagne section, and you'll feel like visiting this secluded wine shop or a small wine museum if you like wine.
